Easy Steps to Set Up Your Own Blog Signature
So, which one is signature? it's the one that usually placed in the bottom of the blog post. Some blogger think signatures are important but some also think that it's not important. As for me, I just find it fun to design my own signature and place it on every post! :) so, to make my signature, I use an online photo editor as I don't know how to use photoshop :L I believe this editor sounds familiar to some of you.
- First, you need a blank white background. You can make it on Paint or somewhere else. (If you want to make one with transparent background, you can see it here on how I get the transparent background)
- Open Picmonkey Photo Editor and select "edit" option.
- Upload your blank background
- Once it's uploaded, start editing by resize it first to be at least 200 x 70. Tbh you can make it bigger but NOT TOO BIG.
- Then, you can start adding text and design your own fonts. You can also add some accessories. After you finished, save it.
Now, to put it in your blog, you need to upload the image first to your desired image host. I use Tinypic as it gives me complete links start from the HTML, direct link, URL, etc.
- Sign in to your blogger account, and go to "Setting" and then click on "Post and Comments" option.
- Copy the code below and paste it on your notepad or something else. Then, put your direct link within the codes by replacing the highlighted part :
<center>
<img class="left" alt="post signature" src="YOUR IMAGE URL"></center>
<img class="left" alt="post signature" src="YOUR IMAGE URL"></center>
DO NOT remove/replace other code parts/punctuation with anything else.
- Once you're done replacing the highlighted part, copy the whole code and paste it in a box that says "Post Template" then save.
![]() |
| NB : You can remove the center tags if you don't want the signature to be centered. |
And voila! your signature will automatically appear (and centered if you're not removing the center tag) on every posts that you make AFTER you do this settings.
